Land analysis
Park data
One of the simplest tasks in land analysis is obtaining data that relates to the different features of the land, in order to gather information on forest areal extent, percentage of hectares of protected land, name of species present in a certain area, etc. The following is a sample of the data that can be extracted from Vulcanus, such as areas of park and reserves, types of vegetation, etc. These lists were obtained by means of querying Vulcanus graphical database, which you will soon be able to access, in updated versions, at the Department of the Environment's Web site.
