Digital Cartography

This section lets you access a set of graphic layers corresponding to Vulcanus's geographical database. This is not a complete set but only a sample, albeit a representative one, of Vulcanus. This same data will soon be accessible from the Web page, within the GIS of the Catalonian Environmental Information System of the Department of the Environment. This will be the reference page from which you can access Vulcanus's updated database. All environmental information made available to the public by the 'Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa' Natural Park will be available from this page. You are invited to visit this page for periodic updates of the databases contained in this CD-ROM.

You should note that these databases are available as individual items in MiraMon's MMZ format. This means that what you download, visualize, query and print are Vulcanus's own data, and not just a screen dumping. You can access different databases, view and consult them jointly from the MiraMon Map Reader (MMR). The MiraMon Map Reader (MMR) is a free Internet application from the MiraMon software. You can install it directly from the CD or by accessing the Web page.
