The Land Cover Map for Andorra is an initiative of the Centre de Biodiversitat of the Institut d'Estudis Andorrans. It was started in 2000 and this map compiles, in a digital format, the information about land cover of the Principat d'Andorra at a scale of 1:5000, based on colour orthophotographs produced by the Cartographic Service of the M.I. Govern d'Andorra in 1995. After presenting it in public in Andorra and publishing a CD-ROM, it is now also available on the Internet at Mapa de Cobertes del Sòl d'Andorra (MCSA).
