CREAF employs approximately 100 people. These include a permanent group of researchers and technicians, university professors from the UAB and the UB who conduct their research at CREAF, researchers from the CSIC, highly-qualified technicians hired to conduct specific projects, and pre- and post-doctoral students. The educational background of CREAF researchers covers a wide range of disciplines, especially in the fields of biology, geography, environmental sciences and forestry.
